At Connexus, we speak digital. It’s the platform we use to ideate and share concepts to formulate innovative solutions for our customers. The first action we perform with every new enterprise is planning. Planning is the most important step, it is even more critical than the actual development. A good plan produces a yellow brick road for our designers, developers, content editors, managers, and clients to follow; it’s our true north, and we love it when a plan comes together.

After the planning step is complete, all the information is obtained from the client and resources are gathered, it’s time to focus on the visual aesthetics for the project. The design team will dissect the planning and requirements for the project and start with the process that will lead to the creation of an elegant design that is unique to your company’s brand.

Now that approval has been given on the visual aesthetics for the project, it’s time to slice up the mockup, break out the design elements, and jump into the code. Many core tasks are involved here such as building the site structure, constructing the templates, importing data, publishing content, etc. Our developers work hand in hand with our UI/UX experts to create a level of synergy that is almost tangible.

Quality control. Rigorous testing is performed for the functionality and performance throughout this stage. Unlike software development, web based applications need intensive testing, as the applications will always function as a multi-user, multi-tier system with bandwidth limitations. Some of the testing which takes place are, integration testing, stress testing, scalability testing, load testing, resolution testing, and cross-browser compatibility testing. Both automated testing and manual testing are performed without fail.

We have the project developed, now we are ready to showcase it to the world! While we’ve come a long way, we aren’t out of the woods just yet. We need to do some final touch-up, get everything on the production server, and then we can flip the switch. After we go live, meticulous testing is performed to ensure that the intended product is expertly served to the end user.
